West Palm Beach is about to experience a slice of Tel Aviv as Malka, the globally renowned Israeli restaurant concept by celebrity chef Eyal Shani, plans to open its doors later this year. This will be the fourth Malka restaurant worldwide, offering an immersive, elevated Israeli dining experience that stands out in the city’s bustling food scene. Malka West Palm Beach is set to bring Chef Shani’s signature flavors, innovative design, and vibrant atmosphere—all in keeping with kosher dietary laws—to Florida for the first time.
Chef Shani’s culinary vision, centered on respecting ingredients as “living entities,” will be on full display with beloved Malka classics. Expect standout dishes like the Queen Malka Schnitzel—a unique twist on chicken schnitzel, filled with mashed potatoes—alongside exclusive offerings crafted just for West Palm Beach.
Malka West Palm Beach will transport diners straight to Israel, not just through food but through its thoughtfully curated ambiance. Designed by architect More Gelfand from Tel Aviv's award-winning Kimmel Eshkolot Architects, the restaurant will feature materials imported directly from Israel, creating an authentic vibe.
Elements like Jerusalem stone-inspired marble, Corten metal, and perforated concrete blocks will complement lush Mediterranean greenery, a traditional olive tree, and an outdoor garden. The breezeway—a staple of West Palm Beach architecture—will blend local charm with Malka’s Israeli roots.
Malka will go beyond dining to serve as a cultural space and gathering spot. The atmosphere will mirror an art gallery, with works by renowned Israeli artists, including the acclaimed Michal Rovner, adorning the walls.
For an even more immersive experience, the venue will offer diverse seating arrangements: a private dining room, communal tables, a lounge, and an exclusive chef’s table for intimate culinary interactions. With options for outdoor dining and al-fresco gatherings, Malka encourages guests to connect over food, culture, and community.
Located at 209 6th Street, Malka joins a prestigious list of other global locations, including Tel Aviv and Manhattan, with a new Brooklyn location opening soon. West Palm Beach diners can look forward to an authentic experience unlike any other in the area.
The Good People Group
Co-founded by Eyal Shani and partner Shahar Segal, describes its mission as “heart-opening” rather than merely “hospitality.” With over 40 restaurants worldwide, the group’s unique approach combines Chef Shani’s culinary artistry with a theatrical ambiance that aims to make every guest feel uplifted. Their New York presence includes eight eateries, such as Port Sa’id with its lively DJ sets and vinyl collection, SHMONÉ with its Michelin-star appeal, and the popular Miznon, where high-quality Israeli flavors are served in fresh pita. Each restaurant showcases a distinctive vision, blending Chef Shani’s spirited cuisine with an atmosphere that captivates guests.
As Malka prepares to open in West Palm Beach, it promises to be more than a dining destination—a place to connect, savor, and experience the soul of Israeli cuisine.
