In 2022, Orlando's attractions, including its theme parks and natural sites, attracted over 74 million visitors, making it the most visited destination in the United States. Responding to the growing need for family-oriented accommodation, Evermore Orlando Resort opened on January 1 in the Lake Buena Vista area. This expansive resort, spanning 1,100 acres north of the Disney resort area, offers a variety of accommodations, including flats, villas, vacation houses, and the Conrad Orlando hotel, collectively providing over 2,000 bedrooms.

Christopher Kelsey, president of Dart Interests, the developer behind the resort, emphasized the fusion of home-like comfort with luxury hotel services in the resort's design. Rene Smilek, director of resort operations at Evermore, further noted that the vacation rental homes are purpose-designed, combining luxury with functionality to suit different group needs.
The resort's standout feature is Evermore Bay, a man-made, 17-million-gallon pool crafted to mimic a natural lagoon. Alongside this, guests can enjoy a tropical beach, private cabanas, water slides, kayak and paddle board rentals. The resort also boasts two golf courses, pickleball, fitness classes, and a comprehensive list of activities for all ages. Dining options are abundant, with twelve different establishments including Twin View Restaurant, Sophia's Trattoria, and Barbara Ann's Beach Bar.
The Conrad Orlando, which opened its doors on January 9, offers a more conventional hotel experience with 433 rooms, including 51 suites and 10 family suites. These rooms feature private balconies, contemporary decor, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Resort amenities extend to a private pool area, splash pad, cabanas, a rooftop, a spa, three full-service restaurants, and two bars.
Stewart Brown, executive vice president of Dart Interests, highlighted the unique appeal of the resort, stating that it allows visitors to enjoy both the excitement of Florida's famous attractions and the serenity of a beach setting without having to choose between the two. This $1.5 billion luxury resort, five years in the making, represents a first-of-its-kind beach paradise in Orlando.
