Faena New York is preparing to open its first New York location inside One High Line this spring, a dual-tower development in Manhattan’s West Chelsea neighborhood. The hotel, part of Accor’s portfolio, is a result of Faena’s partnership with Accor announced in early 2021 to expand beyond its Miami and Buenos Aires locations. The property will occupy the first ten floors of the 26-story East Tower, featuring 120 rooms with views of the Hudson River and city skyline.

Designed by architect Bjarke Ingels of BIG, the building’s structure integrates sculptural contemporary design with the industrial history of the neighborhood. The hotel interiors, designed by Paris-based Gilles & Boissier, incorporate custom furnishings and materials selected to complement the architectural framework of the space while aiming to highlight influences of the city’s cultural and artistic history.

The hotel’s signature culinary concept will be led by world renowned Argentinian chef Francis Mallmann. Known for his signature live-fire cooking, Mallmann will introduce an innovative dining concept inside the 5,000-square-foot restaurant. This marks his second collaboration with Faena, following Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann at Faena Miami.

Faena New York will also introduce an outpost of Tierra Santa Healing House, the brand’s signature spa concept. The 17,000-square-foot wellness space will provide a range of healing rituals and treatments alongside a fitness center equipped with state-of-the-art training facilities.
Faena Rose members will be able to enjoy an exclusive nightclub, The Living Room, featuring outdoor terraces with skyline views, live entertainment, and private dining in an elevated setting.
