In a major boost to the city's international sports and legal landscape, FIFA announced last year that it would be relocating over 100 positions from its Swiss headquarters to Florida to support the organization of the 2026 World Cup. The strategic move, which includes the entire legal department as well as the audit, compliance, and risk management teams, will see these departments move from Zurich to Coral Gables, near Miami.
With its passionate sports fans, iconic stadiums, and vibrant atmosphere, both Miami and Orlando are poised to provide an unforgettable experience for players and spectators alike. The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 promises to be a historic event for Florida and a celebration of the beautiful game.
