Formerly The Confidante, Andaz Miami Beach is a seaside revival that ignites the Art Deco narrative with ocean-inspired design with 287 rooms and 65 suites that meet precisely what travelers desire to lean into this year - exclusivity, fewer crowds, and sophisticated retreats curating a night-to-day philosophy that goes beyond the usual South Beach pool party scene and captures the increasing needs for balance and rejuvenation in a weekend trip.
Designed by EoA Group, the hotel’s architecture and interiors reflect the free-flowing movement of the ocean. Curved forms, light-filled spaces, and a palette inspired by the sea—featuring blues, greens, and soft neutrals—create a seamless connection to Miami’s natural and cultural heritage. Guests will find rounded edges throughout the hotel, from the lobby to the guest rooms, dining areas, and even the landscaping, where carefully placed curved palm trees echo the surrounding waves.
Among its standout features is the region’s only ocean-view check-in area, paired with a redesigned, barrier-free lobby that redefines the arrival experience. The highly anticipated culinary collaborations with the world-renowned José Andrés Group, are to be announced later this month. They plan to offer vibrant flavors, impeccable service and a perfect setting within the architectural masterpiece.
The Andaz Spa offers a tailored wellness program for those seeking relaxation. Morning treatments focus on post-celebration recovery, while afternoon and evening services aim to recharge guests before their nighttime plans. Guests can also enjoy the spa terrace overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
The hotel’s hydraulic pool floor sets it apart as a venue for events and entertainment. This innovative feature transforms the pool into a solid surface, allowing for a range of activities, from runway shows to private concerts. Additional amenities include two swimming pools, a fitness center, and 25,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space.
Exclusive to Andaz Miami Beach is a private beachfront for guests, featuring bean bags, hammocks, and daybeds that offer a more personalized alternative to traditional beach setups. Guests can also access a private membership club housed in a 1930s Spanish-inspired beach house, where they can engage in curated programs, VIP events, and unique activations.
