Salty Flame, the latest venture from the creators of the beloved Paperfish, has arrived in Brickell, transforming the iconic former Novecento space into an upscale dining experience that fuses bold Asian flavors with classic steakhouse traditions. With an emphasis on premium cuts of meat, fresh seafood, and expertly crafted cocktails, Salty Flame brings a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere to Miami’s vibrant culinary scene.

Located at 1414 Brickell Avenue, Salty Flame spans 8,000 square feet, offering a refined yet dynamic setting for various dining occasions. The restaurant’s interior is a masterful blend of modern elegance and warmth, featuring emerald and black velvet seating, red velvet accents, gold detailing, and ambient lighting that creates an intimate yet energetic ambiance. The open-concept kitchen allows diners to witness the artistry behind each dish, while the DJ booth and sound system elevate the atmosphere, making it a prime destination for both fine dining and lively social gatherings.



Guests can choose from a 130-seat main dining room, an outdoor terrace, and two private dining rooms—the Sapphire Lounge (40 seats) and the Reflection Room (10 seats)—ideal for corporate events or special celebrations.

Under the leadership of executive chefs Michael Asalie and Alex Martinez, Salty Flame’s menu showcases a balance of Japanese and Korean influences with high-quality steakhouse classics. Signature dishes include:


  • Steamed Black Bass in a Shaoxing broth with scallions, ginger, cilantro, and Fresno chili

  • Salmon Togarashi Roll with avocado, asparagus, cream cheese, and truffle eel sauce

  • Tomahawk Steaks cooked to perfection

  • Korean Fried Chicken with sweet gochujang, scallions, sesame seeds, and kimchi aioli

  • Japanese A5 Wagyu Striploin, thinly sliced and served with house-made accompaniments


For sides, diners can enjoy options like stir-fried milk bok choy and kimchi truffle fries, alongside a diverse selection of sashimi, rolls, rice, noodles, and a dedicated steak bar.



To complement the menu, Salty Flame offers an impressive selection of wines, sake, and handcrafted cocktails, including the Lucky Tsunami and the Lychee Pop, which bring a playful yet refined touch to the beverage program.
