Thoughtfully redesigned with a harmonious blend of tropical ease and contemporary sophistication, these spacious retreats bring coastal-inspired interiors, modern appliances, and expanded patios - truly bringing a space that is accommodating for even the longest stays. Twelve new Cabana Poolside Rooms offer expanded outdoor living spaces with exclusive poolside cabanas and dedicated service.

Designed in collaboration with Gensler, EDSA landscape architects, Theresa Fatino Design, KPR Consulting, and Destination Decoded, the resort’s enhancements embrace its storied past while introducing fresh, modern touches.


Set along Islamorada’s largest beachfront, Islander Resort invites guests to immerse themselves in the natural rhythm of the Keys. As evening falls, Firelight Cove becomes the heart of the resort, where guests gather for starlit storytelling, ocean breezes, and s’mores by the fire. Sunrise Pier, a tranquil vantage point over the water, is the perfect spot for marine life sightings and launching excursions to the world’s third-largest barrier reef.

Active travelers can enjoy the two-acre Seaside Sports area, featuring pickleball, basketball, volleyball, bocce ball, and a 9-hole Seaside Links putting course designed by PuttTek.
