A Nashville native singer-songwriter, Jelly Roll, is adding his name to the growing list of musicians opening bars in the city.
On a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, at the 19:54 minute mark, he announced his plans to open a bar on Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee.
"I'm announcing this now, right here, that I am opening my bar on Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee," Jelly Roll said. "I'm the first Nashville native to get a bar." The bar will be called Jelly Roll's Goodnight Nashville, and it will feature a back bar named Buddy's Bar, in honor of my late father.
Jelly Roll joins a slew of other musicians who have opened bars in Nashville, including Lainey Wilson, Eric Church, Garth Brooks, and Hank Williams Jr. Other artists have also announced plans to open bars in the city, such as Koe Wetzel and Old Dominion.
While further details of Jelly Roll's project, including a location and opening date, are not yet known, it is clear that the trend of musicians opening bars in Nashville is continuing to grow.
