The Miami Women’s Club in Edgewater, a historic location that has faced complaints from nearby residents about one upscale restaurant, is soon to become home to another.
Casadonna, an Italian waterfront restaurant, is being opened by Groot Hospitality, famous for restaurants like Komodo, Swan, Key Club and Papi Steak, and Tao Group Hospitality. The restaurant, spanning 20,000 square feet, will have indoor and outdoor dining and bar areas, accommodating up to 366 guests. Designed by Ken Fulk, the restaurant features a covered atrium with a high ceiling, vaulted glass windows, patterned floors, and grand chandeliers. Although specific dishes haven't been released, Casadonna is expected to offer delectable coastal dishes found in towns such as Naples, Positano, and Gaeta. The ground floor of the building already houses Klaw, a luxury seafood restaurant known for its King Crab claws and high-quality meats from Nebraska.
