Belly Acres, a Memphis-based restaurant known for its farm-fresh approach to Southern comfort food, is set to open its first Nashville location at 730 Eighth Ave. S. This space, formerly home to Fat Kat Slims, was initially slated for Party Fowl's relocation, but the restaurant decided to remain at its original Gulch location across the street.
Founded in 2014 by Ben McLean and chef Rob Ray - Belly Acres has two established Memphis locations with a third on the way. The Nashville expansion marks an exciting step into a new market for the brand.
Belly Acres delivers a diverse selection of dishes, offering everything from signature chicken sandwiches like buffalo and oven-roasted varieties to hearty burgers, vegetarian options, and fresh salads. Shareable Southern favorites such as fried green tomatoes and fried pickles, along with classic sides, round out the savory offerings.
For a sweet finish, guests can indulge in ten milkshake flavors or ice cream sandwiches. Breakfast lovers are also in for a treat with options like pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, and hearty plates to start the day right.
