Nashville's tourism industry generated a record $10.56 billion in visitor spending in 2023, a 5.9% increase over 2022. Approximately 16.8 million people visited Nashville, marking a 4% rise from the previous year. Nashville's international visitor numbers also surpassed pre-pandemic levels by 16%.
Visitor spending is projected to reach $12.07 billion by 2027, with visitor numbers climbing to 18.1 million, coinciding with the opening of the new Tennessee Titans stadium.
Nashville was also named the third most popular meeting destination in North America - Nashville's hotel market has 2,000 rooms under construction and an additional 13,000 in the pipeline to meet these future expectations.
