New gameday water taxi launches on the Cumberland in downtown Nashville

A new water taxi service just launched in Nashville, offering a unique and convenient way to travel to Nissan Stadium for Tennessee Titans games. The Cumberland Cat, a 49-passenger vessel,

will depart from Lock One Marina and cruise the scenic Cumberland River to the stadium.

Andrew Ostrowski, owner of Pontoon Saloon, is the mastermind behind the project. He envisioned the water taxi as a way to reduce traffic congestion on game days, provide a more enjoyable experience for fans, and promote development along the Cumberland River. The 15-minute ride has already seen great success, with all-time slots for the water taxis during both home games selling out instantly.

The Cumberland Cat is USCG-inspected and features a bar, restroom, and two crew members. In addition to game-day service, the water taxi will also offer history cruises, private events, and family-friendly tours.

Ostrowski is working with local officials and developers to identify infrastructure needs and expand the service in the future. The Cumberland River has seen significant redevelopment in recent years, with projects such as the new Titans stadium, River North mixed-use district, and Neuhoff District.

Tickets for the Game Day Water Taxi are $20/person round trip, with $25 parking available at Lock One Marina. For reservations, visit their website.
