The Nashville International Airport (BNA) is gearing up for a major expansion in 2025 with new nonstop routes announced by various airlines throughout the year. During BNA's busiest travel period, Fall Break, a record was set on Sunday, October 6, when 107,000 passengers, including arrivals, layovers, and departures, were screened. Here’s a rundown of the exciting destinations coming to BNA:
Southwest Airlines
Southwest is introducing three new nonstop routes:
Indianapolis, IN (March 6, 2025)
West Palm Beach (March 6, 2025)
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (March 8, 2025)
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (March 8, 2025)
Starting April 8, 2025, additional destinations will include:
Albuquerque, NM
Albany, NY
Jackson, MS
Memphis, TN
Providence, RI
Tulsa, OK
Southwest also revealed its “largest-ever summer schedule,” adding flights to San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland (OR) starting June 5, 2025.
Icelandair
Direct flights to Europe are coming with a new seasonal nonstop route to Reykjavík, Iceland starting April 10, 2025.
Avelo Airlines
Avelo is expanding with multiple nonstop routes:
Lakeland, FL (March 6, 2025)
Charlotte/Concord, NC (April 4, 2025)
Philadelphia/Delaware Valley (May 1, 2025)
Rochester, NY (April 3, 2025)
Wilmington, NC (April 3, 2025)
Frontier Airlines
Starting March 7, 2025, Frontier will launch a new nonstop route to Orlando, FL, with flights three times a week.
Allegiant Air
Allegiant is adding a nonstop route to Shreveport, LA, beginning May 22, 2025, operating twice a week.
Air Canada
Expanded service includes new seasonal flights to Vancouver starting May 1, 2025, with additional flights to Montreal and continued year-round service to Toronto.
Aer Lingus
Direct flights to Dublin, Ireland will begin in April 12 2025, with service four times a week - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday aboard the Airbus A321XLR. Aer Lingus also offers connections to 22 European cities, including London, Paris, and Rome.
