Palm House, Palm Beach’s first new hotel in over four years opens its doors

Palm Beach’s first new hotel in four years—and the island’s first modern, luxury hotel—is now open. Ideally situated steps from the beach on Royal Palm Way, between Worth Avenue and the Royal Poinciana Plaza, the 79-room Palm House brings new-world luxury and classic elegance to the storied island.

This marks the first U.S. property for the London-based L+R Hotel’s Iconic Luxury Hotels (ILH) collection, which includes legendary properties such as the British country estate Cliveden House, the majestic Hotel Excelsior on the Venice Lido, and the witty and dashing The Mayfair Townhouse in London.

“The addition of Palm House to the Iconic Luxury Hotels portfolio is a pivotal moment for the brand, not only as it will be our second international property, but also the brand’s debut in the U.S.,” said Andrew Stembridge, Executive Director of ILH.

Francisco Macedo, Senior Vice President of ILH International, added: “Palm Beach—which represents the pinnacle of sophistication and style—was the natural next step for our brand. Palm House sets a bold new standard for luxury hospitality, offering more than just a place to stay—it’s a celebration of timeless elegance, architectural artistry, and impeccable service.”

Palm House was conceived as an enduring escape, honoring the timeless allure of the island while establishing new traditions. Designed by Cooper Carry (architects), Muza Lab (interior designers), and art consultant Minda Dowling, the hotel reimagines the iconic pinks and greens of vintage Palm Beach into a fresh, bright, and inviting aesthetic.

The hotel’s façade, featuring a lively coral hue, is framed by coconut palms and lush greenery. Its three-story structure includes accents of carved cypress arbors and pale-pink limestone arches, adding charm and warmth.

Palm Bar

Guests are welcomed through a grand porte-cochère into the light-filled Palm Bar, a whimsical space adorned with seashell wall installations by Christa Wilm, coral walls, and Murano-glass chandeliers. The pink marble bar and mosaic marble floors create a sense of movement beneath the arched, antique-mirrored ceiling.

At the bar, bartenders in white tuxedo jackets serve creative interpretations of tropical classics alongside British favorites. Guests can enjoy intimate ruby-hued seating arrangements and a menu of cocktails and gourmet snacks.

Palm House Dining Room

Executive Chef Jerry Ayala brings a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine—described as "Nobu style"—to the Palm House Dining Room. Offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the dining room features an open kitchen with a chef’s table, blending oak walls and Japanese-inspired textures with coastal turquoise accents.
