Panther National's championship golf course is opening to members this November

Panther National, a luxury and lifestyle community in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, features 218 bespoke estates with lot sizes ranging from 1/3 acre to a full acre. The homes offer various options, starting from $4.5 million and reaching up to $20 million. The centerpiece of the community is an 18-hole championship golf course co-designed by golf legends Jack Nicklaus and Justin Thomas. Complementing the course is a 9-hole par three course, a state-of-the-art practice facility, a performance center, a two-sided driving range, a short game area, and a 3-acre putting green. The highly anticipated opening of Panther National's golf course is scheduled to open to members in November 2023.

Over nearly 15 years, Landstar, the master developer, has diligently secured approvals from Palm Beach County and the town of Palm Beach Gardens to develop around 2,500 acres of this prime location. The community has attracted renowned home builders such as GL Homes, Pulte/DiVosta, Kenco, Toll Brothers, and K Hovnanian. Alongside residential offerings, Landstar has allocated over 100 acres for state-of-the-art shopping, retail, restaurants, medical offices, and a future charter school to enhance the convenience for both current and future residents.

Matching the thoughtful golf course design, Founder Dominik Senn has enlisted esteemed architect Max Strang to design the entrance, clubhouse and a series of Signature Homes within Panther National. Strang's contemporary architectural style blends form and function seamlessly. To bring this vision to life, a local custom home builder was selected to ensure an elevated level of quality and finish, meeting the discerning standards of Panther National's clientele.

Panther National, a collaborative effort between Jack Nicklaus and Justin Thomas, marks Thomas' early foray into golf course design. The luxury community, situated near Thomas' South Florida residence, combines 218 custom modern estates, priced from $4 million to $15 million, with the 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole Par-3 course.

Thomas' insights contribute to the design process, drawing from his experience as a professional golfer. The golf courses are set to open later this year, with a contemporary clubhouse, community amenities including a wellness lifestyle center, and the first homes expected in 2024.

While Thomas acknowledges his relative inexperience in golf course design, he values the opportunity to collaborate and learn from established architects. Panther National is envisioned as the stepping stone to a potential future career in golf course design for Thomas, who plans to co-design courses with other architects. The proximity of Panther National to his residence provides Thomas with the convenience to engage actively in the design and development process. However, Thomas' primary focus remains on his professional golf career, with golf excellence remaining his top priority.
