Esplanade at Aventura is set to welcome a new addition to its vibrant lifestyle scene this December – Pinstripes, a unique combination of dining and entertainment. This will be Pinstripes' inaugural venture into Florida, adding to its growing presence across the United States, now tallying 15 locations. The Aventura site, which precedes another planned opening in Coral Gables for Spring 2024, promises an exciting blend of Italian-American cuisine, artisanal cocktails, and a modern approach to classic games like bowling and bocce.
Spanning a generous 30,000 square feet over two levels, the establishment fuses the charm of an Italian-American bistro with the thrill of gaming. The lower level hosts a dining area offering a menu rich in seasonal Italian-American dishes and bespoke cocktails, set against a backdrop of vibrant, Miami-inspired abstract art by Charity Gangale. Guests can choose from various seating options – cozy booths, bar-side tables, or an atmospheric rooftop patio – while enjoying major sports events on large screens. The venue boasts 12 bowling lanes, both indoor and outdoor bocce courts, a well-stocked wine cellar, and an expansive event space capable of accommodating 1,500 guests.
Dale Schwartz, the founder of Pinstripes, expressed his enthusiasm for this new chapter, highlighting the synergy between the vibrant Esplanade at Aventura and Pinstripes’ unique entertainment and dining concept. Schwartz's vision is to provide the local community with a fresh take on the dining and gaming experience.
The venue's culinary offerings, curated by Chief Culinary Officer Cesar Gutierrez, are a highlight. Guests can enjoy a variety of Italian-American classics, from wood-fired pizzas and gourmet sandwiches to chef-special entrées like Maple Glazed Salmon and Char-Grilled Rib-Eye, all prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The dessert menu tempts with items like homemade Italian gelato and Classic Tiramisu. Weekends are marked by the Pintastic Brunch Buffet, a gastronomic affair with stations for waffles, omelets, and carving, alongside bottomless mimosas and Aperol spritzes.
Pinstripes complements its culinary delights with a selection of wines, craft beers, and signature cocktails, like the Margarita Italiano and Limoncello Martini. Located at 19505 Biscayne Blvd., Suite 3290, in Aventura, FL, Pinstripes offers lunch and dinner, a weekday happy hour, and a weekend brunch.
This addition to Esplanade at Aventura is not just about leisure and gastronomy; it's also a boon for the local job market, with an estimated 130 new positions being created. Eric Dinenberg of Seritage Growth Properties sees this as a momentous step in enhancing Aventura's social fabric, with Pinstripes playing a pivotal role in this transformation.
