The 185,000-square-foot structure will rise on a 29,500-square-foot trapezoidal property, bordered by Washington Cemetery to the north, Avenue M to the south, McDonald Avenue to the east, and a collection of low-rise structures to the west.

Before the vision of 1490 McDonald Ave can take shape, the existing warehouse currently occupying the site will need to be deconstructed.
