The proposed green space will stretch from Broadway to the future Pinnacle tower, featuring a dog park, garden ramp, pickleball courts, a courtyard with seating, urban farming, pop-up retail, and community events.

Plans for the project, submitted by Nashville-based Gresham Smith, also include exterior renovations to Union Station Hotel, adding a stage, bar, flexible event space, and a grove terrace. Work on the landing is expected to start later this summer and finish by next spring.

The project is scheduled for approval by the Metro Planning Department on July 25. Despite city-wide development slowdowns due to interest rate hikes, the downtown project has continued to progress, with the future 35-story Pinnacle tower set to open in January 2025.
