Fresh renderings and details have been released for the upcoming St. Regis hotel and residential tower in downtown Nashville. Florida-based developer Turnberry, known for its work on Nashville’s JW Marriott, has teamed up with the Marriott-owned luxury brand to create this new development.
According to plans submitted to the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency, the project at 805 Demonbreun St. will include a 46-story tower, making it one of the tallest structures in Nashville. It will feature 173 hotel rooms, 73 furnished residences, and 100 condo units, an expansion from earlier proposals.
The tower is designed by New York City-based Morris Adjmi Architects and will incorporate a "tower in a garden" concept, blending urban architecture with tiered plantings to stand out in Nashville’s skyline. The development will also offer three levels of underground parking, diverse food and beverage options, a full-service spa, and multiple event spaces.
Scheduled to break ground in 2025, this project will expand Turnberry’s portfolio in Nashville, which includes the JW Marriott opened in 2018 and other notable properties like the Hilton Downtown Nashville and the renovated Union Station Hotel. The St. Regis will occupy a plot next to the JW Marriott, on land Turnberry has owned since 2015. Nashville's luxury tourism market continues to grow, highlighted by recent additions like the Four Seasons and plans for a downtown Ritz-Carlton, underscoring the city's increasing appeal as a high-end travel destination.
