On July 18th, a speakeasy-style sushi experience unlike any other will open its doors, promising an intimate and unforgettable journey for discerning palates.
This innovative concept, aptly named Sushi | Bar, will take over the former Barista Parlor space at 610 Magazine St. Here, guests can expect meticulously crafted nigiri presented in a two-hour, 17-course omakase tasting menu. The freshest seasonal offerings, flown in weekly from Japan, will be the star of the show, artfully prepared by skilled sushi chefs.
Those seeking a perfectly paired beverage can explore a curated sake list, meticulously chosen by an in-house sommelier. This dedication to detail extends to the welcoming atmosphere, designed by Remick Architecture. Drawing inspiration from the building's past life as a 1960s recording studio, the space promises a unique blend of modern elegance and Japanese minimalism.
