Sushi by Bou, the modern speakeasy-inspired omakase concept, is opening a new location, February 7 at Benny’s on the Beach - Oceanwalk in Lake Worth Beach, located at 10 S. Ocean Blvd. This marks the third Palm Beach County outpost following its 2023 debuts in Boca Raton and at PGA National Resort.
The new Sushi by Bou – Ocean Blvd. will offer its signature omakase experience at an intimate 14-seat bar. True to the brand’s speakeasy charm, each location boasts a distinct aesthetic, delivering a unique, personalized dining atmosphere.
Capturing an effortless vacation vibe with a chic, glamorous twist, the Ocean Blvd. setting blends soft sandy hues with bold pops of color, natural elements like driftwood, and ocean-inspired decor. Luxe fabrics and metallic accents add a sophisticated touch, creating a vibrant, laid-back space perfect for an elevated beachside sushi experience.
Palm Beach County residents and Sushi by Bouu partners Erika London and Chef David Bouhadana lead the brand’s local presence, with London having relocated to Boca Raton in 2022.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with the iconic Benny’s on the Beach team and excited to bring Sushi by Bou to Lake Worth Beach for our first oceanfront omakase experience,” said London.
With the Lake Worth Beach opening, Sushi by Bouu now operates 20 locations nationwide, spanning New York, New Jersey, South Florida, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. The brand, part of simplevenue’s portfolio, shares its hospitality umbrella with sister concepts like Sushi Suite, Omakaseed, Fins and Scales, and Trust Bae. Upcoming expansions include a second Puerto Rico location—the world’s first mobile omakase inside an RV—and a Nashville venue.
simplevenue, co-founded by Michael Sinensky and Erika London, with hospitality veteran Richie Romero as Partner and Chief Hospitality Officer, has rapidly grown, adding 10 new locations in the past two years. The group specializes in micro-restaurant concepts within underutilized spaces, reimagining the traditional sushi counter with Sushi by Boū's dynamic, fast-paced omakase format inspired by Japan's culinary culture.
Guests at Sushi by Bouu – Ocean Blvd. can enjoy a guided, hour-long omakase journey led by expert sushi chefs. Signature cocktails such as the Yuzu Honey Bee, Shiso Southsider, Beach, Please, and Ship Happens complement the dining experience.
Pricing starts at $65 for a 12-course omakase and $125 for the 17-course “Bougie” upgrade, featuring five additional seasonal courses.
