Sushi by Boū debuts its elevated omakase experience with a new location in Boca Raton

Renowned for its modern take on the omakase experience, Sushi by Boū has now opened its doors in Boca Raton, following their recent opening in West Palm Beach in May. The new Boca Raton location, situated at 409 SE Mizner Boulevard in Royal Palm Place, adds to the brand's growing nationwide footprint, bringing its total number of locations to 14. The parent hospitality group, Simplevenue, has 19 total concepts including Sushi by Boū and sister brands like Sushi Suite, Omakaseed, Fins and Scales, and Trust Bae.

Boca Raton residents Erika London and Chef David Bouhadana are the forces behind the venture. "Being able to introduce our omakase experience to Boca Raton, where the dining scene is both booming and sophisticated, is exhilarating," stated Ms. London, who moved to the area with her family last year.

The Boca Raton location elevates the omakase experience with unique architectural and design elements. The intimate setting showcases a 1920s art deco influence, featuring geometric tiles and textures throughout the venue. The design pays tribute to Addison Mizner and even adds a whimsical touch through bold bathroom decor inspired by Mizner's fondness for monkeys.

Guests at Sushi by Boū can anticipate a timed omakase experience led by experienced sushi chefs. Options range from a 12-course menu priced at $60 to a 17-course 'Bou-gie' upgrade for $125, both lasting 60 minutes. The menu includes a variety of delicacies like Hamachi, Botan Ebi, Ikura, and more. Hand rolls and a la carte specialties are also available upon request.

Simplevenue has ambitious growth plans for 2023, aiming to open a dozen more locations, including additional sites in Palm Beach County. The group specializes in developing micro-restaurant concepts in underused spaces, thus revolutionizing food culture in America. The flagship brand, Sushi by Boū, is noted for blending the energy of Japanese food culture with personalized culinary experiences.

The new Sushi by Boū location in Boca Raton operates from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Reservations can be made via the Sushi by Boū website or OpenTable.
