The redesign centers on the use of bamboo, a material chosen for its symbolic representation of strength, beauty, and flexibility within Japanese culture. Imported directly from the Kyoto mountains, five tons of bamboo have been meticulously shaped into stunning architectural features, including an enchanting tunnel and a dynamic wave above the sushi bar, transforming the space into a visually captivating environment. These elements were crafted by masters whose previous works include ancient temples and royal gardens in Japan, bringing a piece of that tradition to Miami Beach.
This approach has resulted in a space that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also a testament to the artistry of sushi preparation, mirroring the excellence Toni's has been known for almost four decades.
