Universal Studios has recently shared exciting details and renderings of its upcoming theme park, Epic Universe, set to open in Orlando in 2025. This innovative addition to the Universal Orlando Resort will include over 50 attractions, entertainment options, dining and shopping experiences, and a hotel, alongside unique "portals" leading to various themed worlds.
Epic Universe aims to redefine theme park entertainment by introducing five distinct worlds within its expansive grounds. Celestial Park, the central hub, welcomes visitors with attractions like Constellation Carousel, Starfall Racers, and Astronomica, alongside dining options such as Atlantic and The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant.
Other worlds include Super Nintendo World, offering a nostalgic video game adventure; The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, merging 1920s wizarding Paris with the iconic British Ministry; How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, a Viking adventure; and Dark Universe, a realm of myth and mystery.
Notable rides revealed include the thrilling Starfall Racers, a dual-launch racing coaster, and the whimsical Constellation Carousel, promising an enchanting experience against a backdrop of the Milky Way. Astronomica introduces an interactive wet-play area, acting as a compass to the park’s wonders.
Accommodations within Epic Universe will be provided by the 500-room Universal Helios Grand Hotel, offering exclusive park access and Mediterranean-inspired elegance. Positioned a few miles from Universal's existing parks at 4700 E Sand Lake Road, Epic Universe is poised to be a game-changer in theme park entertainment, combining immersive worlds with unparalleled attractions and amenities.
