Waldorf Astoria is expanding into Japan with the opening of Waldorf Astoria Osaka this spring. The hotel will occupy 12 floors of the Grand Front Osaka South Building, a 39-story high-rise in the Umekita district, which is undergoing major redevelopment to enhance Osaka’s urban landscape. The location provides convenient access to the city's business centers, entertainment districts, and transportation hubs, making it a strategic addition to the brand’s growing presence in Asia.

The property will feature 252 guest rooms, each starting at 50 square meters (approximately 538 square feet). Designed to blend modern elements with traditional Japanese influences, the interiors will offer a refined yet functional space for travelers. Select suites will feature panoramic city views, deep soaking tubs, and custom furnishings inspired by Japanese craftsmanship. Guests will also have access to the Waldorf Astoria Spa, an indoor pool, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Dining options will include three restaurants, offering a selection of international and Japanese cuisine. Peacock Alley, a signature Waldorf Astoria lounge and bar, will provide a setting for afternoon tea, evening drinks, and social gatherings. An exclusive omakase dining experience will showcase premium seasonal ingredients prepared by master chefs. The hotel will also feature a rooftop bar with sweeping views of Osaka’s skyline, offering a curated selection of cocktails and small plates.

For business and event travelers, Waldorf Astoria Osaka will offer versatile meeting spaces equipped with advanced technology, alongside a grand ballroom designed for elegant celebrations and corporate gatherings. Dedicated concierge services and personalized guest experiences will further enhance the hotel’s commitment to luxury hospitality.
