World-renowned Italian food hall, Eataly is coming to CityPlace next year

Eataly, the globally acclaimed Italian food marketplace and restaurant brand, is set to make its debut in West Palm Beach in fall 2025, taking up space within the historic Harriet Himmel building at CityPlace. This 100-year-old theater, located at 700 S. Rosemary Ave. in the heart of downtown, will host Eataly’s signature offerings: sit-down restaurants, quick-service counters, and a market stocked with imported Italian specialties that the brand is known for worldwide.

Tommaso Brusò, CEO of Eataly North America, shared his excitement about expanding to South Florida, stating, “We’re incredibly excited to enter the South Florida market and look forward to bringing the Italian art of living to the West Palm Beach community at CityPlace.” Brusò highlighted CityPlace as an ideal location, describing it as a lifestyle destination that blends retail, art, design, and cuisine.

The announcement comes on the heels of recent news that Eataly’s first Florida location will open at Aventura Mall in spring 2025. These Florida additions are part of Eataly's ambitious global expansion, which has seen the brand grow to more than 50 locations across 15 countries, including Italy, the United States, Canada, and South Korea.

Gopal Rajegowda, executive vice president of Related Ross, commented on the collaboration, emphasizing that the Harriet Himmel building “is an ideal location for Eataly’s Italian market and restaurant concept, which will honor the rich heritage of CityPlace’s long-standing community center while also introducing a new, must-visit gastronomic destination for locals and visitors alike.”

With 12 North American locations and operations in countries such as the UAE, Japan, Germany, and Saudi Arabia, Eataly continues its mission to expand into key urban centers worldwide, now including South Florida in its lineup of vibrant, experiential marketplaces. World-renowned Italian
